Important: If you are ready to buy your Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker, and wish not to read my free report on it, then click here to get it on sale now for a short time. Otherwise, enjoy my review! (My report is TOTALLY FREE whether you buy anything or not :)
---

Back again, for another installment... of "Applicance-Of-The-Month" by your beautiful host, Hilary Talrechi! (Me)

About Me & My Appliance-Of-The-Month Club

Every month I actually buy, test, and review a different home appliance, especially kitchen gizmos, and recently, it's been all about the coffee makers! Yes, I BUY them myself, and usually end up either keeping it, returning it, or giving it to a close friend! (Yes, I have close to a zillion toys)

Last month, we did a very rigorous, in depth coverage of the very popular Kitchenaid coffee maker. If you missed out on it, click right here!

Today, I am going to review a personal favorite of mine... the Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker.

It's not a name brand per se, but it is a very famous, highly specific type of home brewing system, that many people, all around the world absolutely love. Why? Because as soon as it's done brewing, you can take it with you on the road! The carafe is portable! (A carafe is the thing that holds the brewed coffee)

What does this extraordinary device look like? So happy you're asking!

What company makes this outstanding thermal carafe coffee maker? Another genius question, my love. Just click play to watch a one minute clip on the famous coffee maker brand, Zojirushi. (But be sure to stay on my page and continue reading when it's done!! :)

Zojirushi is a becoming a really trendy Asian coffee maker, and they make all the finest thermals.

So let's get to this weekend's challenge.

My Battery Of Tests & Results

  • Speed: the Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker finished making my pot of coffee in just a few minutes. It was surprisingly fast! I didn't know what to expect, as this is my only my second Zojirushi. But I am super happy! 9/10 score
  • Taste: the flavor of the beans you brew matter most, but overall, this machine produced a very very high quality cup of coffee. Again, Zojirushi is doing great so far! 9/10 score
  • Ease Of Use: Everything is in English, of course, and it's your typical digital coffee maker interface. Specify your settings and you're good to go. Not much more to say. 8/10 score
  • Affordability: how affordable is this thing. After all, it's coming all the way from Japan, right? Indeed, there are international coffee makers ranging up over 300 bucks. But not this one. It's only 85 usd and may even have free shipping. You'll have to see for yourself. In the end, that is REALLY affordable for a high quality thermal like this! 9/10 score
Final Score: 35/40 (New High Record)

That's right, the Zojirushi thermal carafe coffee maker has officially taken first place as the highest scoring coffee maker since my Appliance-Of-The-Month club started!

So these are the results of my rigorous, thorough, find-out-what-you're-made-of test!

My Honest Kitchenaid Coffee Maker Review! (Comes In Red & Black)

Important: If you are ready to buy the Kitchenaid coffee maker, and wish not to read my free report on it, then click here to get it on sale now for a short time. Otherwise, enjoy my review! (It's TOTALLY FREE whether you buy anything or not :)
---

Welcome to this month's installment... I am your lovely host, Hilary Talrechi, and I am going to be giving you my honest test results and review of our appliance-of-the-month!

Each and every single month I actually buy a new product myself, test it out, write up a review, and either keep it, return it, or gift it to a friend. It's that simple. It's my "hobby" or "monthly activity" so to speak. (And yes, I have loads of gadgets, gizmos, and toys)

In this review, we are going to put the Kitchenaid coffee maker to the test!

Here is a short video about Kitchenaid coffee makers by some dork in a lousy suit.

Did you see how easy it is to work one of these things? The one I'm testing is not a pro-line. it's not as technical, since it's a home brewer. So let's get to it.

Here is a photo of OUR Kitchenaid home brewing system:

Now, of course, I am showing you the red model, but you easily can get it in black, as well. Look for the link at the bottom of this report to get the black one.

But isn't she cute? She's very neat, and conserves a lot of space. Not bad so far.

Test Schedule & Results
  • Speed: the Cuisinart coffee maker does its job very rapidly. There is very little waiting after you press the magic button. There isn't much more to say. 9/10 score
  • Taste: the flavor of the coffee beans you brew have the most significant impact in this area, but this home brewer produces a nice blend. It doesn't effect the inherent coffee bean flavoring at all, and it doesn't necessarily add anything either. It allows the delicious flavor and aroma of the bean to do all the work! 8/10 score
  • Ease Of Use: it's really straight forward. It isn't complicated at all. Just press one or two buttons and away it goes. What else would you expect from Kitchenaid? 8/10 score
  • Affordability: this highly effective, fairly powerful coffee maker used to be very expensive. It was almost 200 dollars last year. But Kitchenaid is now charging significantly less for this beauty. Expect to pay around 97 usd. This is very affordable. 8/10 score
Final Score: 33/40

That's a really good score! It outperformed my expectations. I think I'm going to keep this one for myself!

Editor's Note: the best part about this red coffee maker was not just it's color, which I actually like a lot, but how quiet and quickly it works. It got the job done is just a few short minutes, and the coffee was all ready for serving and drinking.

My Honest Black And Decker Coffee Maker Review!

Important: If you are ready to buy the Black and Decker coffee maker, and wish not to read my free report on it, then click here to get it on sale now for a limited time. Otherwise, enjoy my review! (It's TOTALLY FREE whether you end up buying anything or not!)
---

As many of you already know, I am an absolute coffee lover...

I drink entirely way too much coffee, espresso, and tea on a regular basis, but I truly enjoy it, so I don't mind.

If you're a regular reader here on my blog, then you know that I do consumer research around the coffee makers, toasters, and other small to medium sized kitchen and home appliances.

I
actually buy the product myself, test it out, write up a review, and either keep it, return it, or gift it to a friend. It's that simple. And yes, by now, I have many appliances and a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom... but really... I enjoy it... so it's not a big deal to me. Pretty much everything I test is under 100 bucks, and I only do it once a month. It's sort of my "hobby". I know a lot of fellow bloggers and news reporters that do this kind of thing. (So stop emailing me asking what I do with all my gadgets! :)

So here is this month's installation: the Black And Decker coffee maker

Here's a snapshot of it. It's kind of pretty, and has a fairly regular design for a home brewer, which makes it intuitive to use. It has a programmable interface, large coffee capacity, and a glass carafe. It's very light weight, with a sturdy base for keeping a strong stable balance. All in all, not a bad coffee maker features-wise.

My Battery Of Tests & Results
  • Speed: the Black and Decker is definitely a quick brewer. It's notably faster than it's previous models. It brews a pot of coffee in just a few short minutes. Seriously. 9/10 score
  • Taste: the number one taste factor lies in the coffee beans your using. That being said, this home brewer produces a nice rich flavored coffee that has the classic enjoyable coffee taste. In other words, it certainly won't take anything away from the flavor of the coffee beans you're using. In fact, it enhances the flavor of the beans. 8/10 score
  • Ease Of Use: this is not a complicated coffee maker. After pressing as little as two or three buttons on the programmable interface, this machine is moving! It's fast to respond, and very simple to use. It's literally fool-proof. 7.5/10 score
  • Affordability: many home coffee brewing systems these days are well into the 200-300 dollar range. This coffee maker is dirt cheap compared to those other guys. This brewer is only like 49.99 depending on the seller. It's ultra-affordable. 9.5/10 score
Final Score: 34/40

Editor's Note: my favorite part of the brewer is how reasonable the price is. It's unmatched. Seriously. You can't find a home brewer as high quality as this one for such a lower price.

That's the full battery of tests that I ran. Very straight forward and revealing. Don't you think?

PAY ATTENTION! How You Get Your Own To Play With

I must get an email every single day asking where people can get what I recommend. Half of these people just want to make sure they are getting the exact specific model I suggest, and the other half just haven't taken the time to click on the links I provide for you!

My Honest Cuisinart Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffee Maker Review!

Important: If you are ready to buy the Cuisinart coffee maker, and wish not to read my free report on it, then click here now to get it on sale for a short time. Otherwise, enjoy my review! (It's ABSOLUTELY FREE!)
---

One of my close friends is... the infamous coffee blogger, Charles Dickens. (pen name)

He knows that I do a lot of consumer research blogging, where I test different appliances, and give my honest review and testimonial either for or against the product. (And trust me, there have been enough negative reviews!)

He sent me an email suggesting we get together to try out the Cuisinart Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemakers. I said great, and I had him come over my home that Saturday for a test run.

Here is a short video clip describing the home brewer that John sent me in the email:

Before I get into my review, I must confess I am partial toward Cuisinart, as I do know, from actual previous tests, that they do make GREAT appliances.

So here's what happened that weekend. (Note: it's pretty much not possible to score 10/10)

Test Schedule & Results
  • Speed: The Grind-and-Brew works really quickly, surprisingly quickly, for being a 12 cup coffee maker. This really pleases me as I am not a patient person. Especially in the morning, which is when I want my first cup of hot coffee. 9/10 score
  • Taste: The quality of the cup of coffee depends on a few things. In this case, the most important factor for you to know, is the quality of the brewing system. Of course, the coffee beans themselves play a HUGE role in the flavor and grade of the coffee. In the end, the Grind-and-Brew really makes a delicious cup of coffee! 8/10 score
  • Ease Of Use: It's fairly simple. Just set the specifications and let it run. For us expert brewers, there is an advanced settings area. This is also straightforward. 7.5/10 score
  • Affordability: When I asked Charles what the price of this machine was, I assumed it was going to be in the 300 range. But he looked shocked and corrected me. It turns out, the Grind-and-Brew 12-Cup is only at the mid-range of 140. This certainly is affordable to most people. 9/10 score
So these are the test results: 33.5/40 Final Score

I'm happy with this machine. The home brewer produces a very fine cup of hot coffee at a very reasonable price. I honestly believe this is one of the best multi-cup automatic home coffee brewers you are going to get! It's pretty much unmatched.
